About the event
We're thrilled to extend a special invitation to mark your calendars for a significant event on the horizon! Te Arai Native Nursery is hosting a Waitangi event in February, a celebration steeped in our culture, heritage, community and of course our nursery processes.
Join us on February 9th as we commemorate this momentous occasion together. Be prepared for an afternoon filled with cultural richness, engaging activities, and a chance to honor the spirit of Waitangi. We can't wait to share this meaningful experience with you all!
We will have three stations for you to choose to take part in on the day, please let us know when you RSVP, which ones you would like to attend:
- Seed Collecting overview and exploration
- Rongoa Maori, medicinal plants and their many uses.
- Potting up session, a sneak peak into the work that is done behind the scenes.
